The Cinnamon Peeler's Daughter

In 1895 Clara Harrow sails to Ceylon as a planter's bride, and on her first night at Kurunduwatte she hears voices murmuring from the cinnamon groves below the house. To learn what they are saying she must trust a master peeler who has no reason to trust her, and dig up a history the estate was built to bury.
