Kavi and the Candy Planet

Kavi had built a rocket out of a cardboard box, a colander and his sister’s best saucepan. “Ready, Bolt?” he asked his robot puppy. “Beep-woof!” said Bolt. Three, two, one… WHOOSH! They zoomed past the moon, around a ringed planet, and down onto a world that was pink, purple and very, very shiny. Kavi lifted his visor and sniffed. “Bolt… this whole planet smells of strawberries!” The mountains were made of toffee. The rivers were fizzy lemonade. The rocks were as glittery as boiled sweets. Bolt licked a lollipop tree and his tail spun like a propeller.
